Well...Discursive consists of the drummer, Keith Ohmes, the lead guitarist, Scott Livingston, the
bassist, Alex Miller, and the secondary guitarist, Caleb Scholle. As of now, songs come few and far between...but ya know
what? We have a mixer, and that's all that matters...
Anyway...the current songs consist of (in order of appearance) Mortal Nightmare Kombat, Monkey in
a Suit, Knives on the Wall, and Nutcracker...Under Atack. If you're wondering why there is bass on Mortal Nightmare Kombat,
it's because Keith wanted to try his hand at sucking at more than one instrument, so he put in some bass.
Special thanks need to go to the following people:
- Dan Phipps - The audio/visual guy that will be making all the music videos with his spare time and
illegally aquired Flash program.
- All the people that helped buy the mixer (see The Mixer)
- Amber Malony, Rachel Geiger, and other various girls - sometime during the course of this
band, you'll piss off or depress the drummer so the band will get some good lyrics.
Updates!!!
Our webpage will shortly be undergoing a complete turn around on how it's setup, thanks
to Dan Phipps.
11-13-05 - I haven't updated in a long ass time... This page has been deemed the "dial-up"
page for all you bitches that don't have DSL, myself included in that list of "bitches." The new site for DSL folk shall be
up shortly.
8-28-05 - Mortal Nightmare Kombat was re-recorded with the addition or a keyboard...download
it now.
8-22-05 - Band practice today resulted in a newly recorded version of Mortal
Nightmare Kombat, which can be downloaded in the downloads page. Also, our new song, A Tribute to Maria Patricia Montoya,
is underway, with both guitar parts nearly 100% completed.
8-21-05 - Scott bought a new amp...a Crate GT-30.
8-5-05 - Keith bought a new piccolo snare and cowbell, thus bringing the total of
his drumset somewhere around $1635. The new snare drum from PDP will be a great, new addition to his set.
7-10-05 - Mortal Nightmare Kombat was rerecorded today with an added
outro and secondary guitar part. The quality is substantially better than the original and the song is an additional 45 seconds
longer. The song can be downloaded on the downloads page under the original name.
7-9-05 - Keith bought $268 worth of drum crap. Now his bass drums have
new heads and pedals, and his hi hat is equipped with a drop clutch.
7-3-05 - Alex Miller and Caleb Scholle were inducted into Discursive officially
as the bassist and secondary guitarist, respectively. Also, the production of 'Strings,' the song composed by Caleb, started
today.
